I know that ideally you drive in and show off your cars, but even if you fly in, you can still have a good time. There will be plenty to do regardless of if your car can make it with you. Itinerary looks awesome so far.

Standing by for more info. For future event planning, keep this map in mind if you want to maximize participation.

Atlanta seems like it'd be a really good place to get lots of people, imo. Or Houston maybe. Still trying to get to Vegas, but after talking with the wife(yeah, I got excited quick...and then shot down just as fast ), its looking doubtful at best.

Except for the fact that the map does not reflect the sheer enormity of the car culture (both enthusiasts and vendors) out here on the west coast or the rather high numbers of twins sold in CA alone...

The company I work for has been involved with a major annual Camaro community event for the past several years and after moving around the country (including out west) they have decided that Indianapolis is going to be the permanent home. The central location makes it possible for more people to drive in and attend.

That was the same argument that the Camaro owners from out west used. The problem is that the bulk of the population is east of the Rockies. 60% of the US population is within 600 miles of Louisville, Ky. (2.5 hours south of Indy). In 2011, the Camaro event I referred to was held out west and in 2012 they held it in Indy for the first time. The attendance more than DOUBLED. It is simply a numbers game.

Take it for what it is. Just my advice based off of experience.

Cant argue that. I can make that drive in a day (a very long and difficult day, but manageable). Vegas...not so much. 28 hours isnt even a realistic 2 day drive for me..alone...

Have you guys heard of SEMA? CES? All of the big stuff is in vegas, Flights to vegas are usually cheaper than other states, hotels are cheaper, people love vegas and tons of events are held there. Seems like a reasonable option to me ichitaka.

The Camaro is an American muscle car...and they can be found in the droves in the midwest and south. Small, niche imports like the FRS...not so much.

Regardless, you do have a point.

That's true as well. When not doing car related stuff in Vegas...there is much opportunity for debauchery and shenanigans

Gambling, dance clubs, "other" clubs, shooting ranges, shows, a bar or liquor store every 10 square yards...the list goes on and on.
