This is now a 207 page thread. It would be really useful to have an updated summary/FAQ somewhere as most ppl are not going to want to wade through this for the basics.

Agreed. this first post needs to be updated or a new thread started with a concise breakdown of all FAQ.

Ya sure why not, I guess we shouldnt believe him. Even if he has had no reviews of any trouble from his tunes or builds. I guess we shouldnt believe any other pro tuners either they may be selling that GT86 snake oil.

I think they just want to know a bit more about such promises of reliable running at high revs.

Full respect for you John, but you're the preferred master tuner for EcuTek in the US, I imagine they expect you would not make those claims without being able to provide the details either.

Actually no, just that statement would be good enough for me.

I don't have to explain all the ins or outs. Bottom line , heads were sent out , checked and they are fine.

I'm not saying more then that, if you want to find out more take your own set of heads and ship them off.

Seriously guys wtf

It's not clear by your description, did you let the car idle a minute or so after the reflash without touching the accelerator? Is that the 12 mins? If so, yeah you just need to drive around for a bit.

Dead Pedal means your pedal does not function at all - which means there was a flashing error.

But if your hitting the pedal and the car is reving the pedal is fine.

Just put some miles on it

Best tune out there. Compared to someone who has FA20, they said mine is better. Keep it up @Visconti

I cant remember are the newest tunes still split with e85 and pump gas maps. I still have seperate pump and e85 tunes. I remember when flex fuel came out something was mentioned about it.
