Join like a potter's co-op/guild or something? Should get you regular kiln access, plus they may have a shared store or something (my mom was in a weavers guild that worked like that for the store, but she had her own loom).

Although if I recall, some of your work is borderline traumatizing...

I know a good bit of people who haven't had any luck down here....

That and I get a sense of bitter resentment from some about having a 'degree that actually got you a job.' Not here, but irl. Makes me wanna slap someone. As I mean...I'd bust ass to make money if my degree was shit currently. Not above landscaping, or otherwise if it pays for shit.
