UK guys; it is real !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my car arrived at the dealer today a bit earlier than planned and I popped down for a look see; SE spec, wr blue brz
Had a walk around and a quick ( naughty ) drive of my car. First thoughts - you are going to love it - it looks great ; perfect proportions, great from all angles and turns heads, proper fat tailpipes - inside; classic sports car ****pit, not cramped but wraps around, and it's a (well made) scooby etc - spec; didn't get to play inside but even my SE surprisingly had push start, dual ac, dab stereo etc - drive; i did a couple of miles and didn't cane it pre-pdi,but I loved it, no roll, nice engine noise, so low and great driving position, planted it will exceed your expectations and a few pics........

You sir, have made my evening. For years I've been barking on to Toyota and moaning about them not doing a sporty car... I realise this is a joint effort, but a bloody good one. I'm so pleased it's been so well received... it's the first of many incredibly awesome cars for Toyota/Subaru I feel. I will be going with Toyota mind, but the BRZ just looks gorgeous and really does wear the badge very, very well.
I cannot put into words how jealous I am of you Mr "ICantAffordAnLFA" :P |

Nice! Your stock exhaust tips are nicer, but what head unit is that?!?! I'm sure it plays audio just fine like the other ones but the interface doesn't look that satisfying...

Having owned a few Scoobies, ( but I'm no chav ) I'd also say that it is clearly a Subaru, rather than a Toyota, and I think they will, with this car, win back the kudos they had with the original Impreza Turbo, back in its hay day in 96-01.

Congrats!!!! Glad to see people all over the world enjoying this car!
I own the Scion version but I agree I can still see right down to it's Subaru heart. |

That's true. I guess the cost is justified as well, so it's cheaper without a full-touchscreen unit like the one in North America. Our BRZs only come with Pioneer double-din full-touchscreen headunits as standard, so I was wondering why the EU and Middle East came with such ancient-looking units.

Chat and a poke around...... but he is such a good salesman
I'm hoping to catch up on Ecutek's BRZ work, identify what brakes will fit and probably order some bits; sti lip, rear underspoiler ..... and talk about wheels. He did the Alcon brakes on my 35 and I liked them.
