Ill be rebuilding my new set . BBS E28 ...magnesium centers, titanium retainers, centerlock ready :P .....theyre 18 x 11 and 18 x12 at the moment , but will rebuild them into 18x10 squared with +38 offsets after the 25mm adapters.

I figure this is as good a place to ask this as anywhere, definitely better than making a new thread. I like the meaty tire look so I'm thinking the perfect look for me would be a 245/40/17 on a 17x8 wheel. I know the preferred fitment is 245/40 on a x9, but that's not meaty enough for me. Yay or nay?

It may look a bit pinched depending on the width of the tire you choose. If you go for a naturally wide tire (AD08, ZII, RE11A, etc) it'll be pretty noticeable.

This is a 255 on a 8.5" wheel. I wouldn't want more pinch than this:

I like the way that looks, not sure what you mean by pinch but I'm guessing it has something to do with where the tire contacts the wheel. Either way, I was planning on getting PSS, which is 8.5" tread.
