homeyp1221 mentioned groups for meet ups. Anyone heard of some? This is the first thread I have seen for valley area. Guessing there is not too many FR-S's around here yet.

Hey silent, how fast was "pretty quick". Just trying to get an idea of how long i might have to wait. Ray, my sales rep, was a little vague on the timing. He said as little as a few days or all the way up to about 3 or 4 weeks.

And yeah, ill be down for meet ups if anyone else is. I think there is a Drift event at the fresno fairgrounds on the 7th that I will be attending. Watching not driving.

As far as waiting for the car, our was about 1 month or just short of it. Paperwork took roughly 2-3 hours.

I got my Firestorm M/T June 6. Very fun. I apparently stumbled upon the first one in Merced County and picked it up that day at Merced Toyota. Just got back from a weekend SoCal drive. That was a joy.

It would be fun to get the Central California 86'ers together. I'm planning on joining the Northern California group for the run and meet up at Alices in July.

I'm originally from Stockton, so I find myself in the valley quite often visiting the folks. Would love to meetup with some of you if you guys ever decide to meet up. Unfortunately, there aren't much but straight country roads around there, but I'm sure we'll find some further east, there's some really nice roads around the Yosemite area.

Congrats on the purchase! Robert from Merced Toyota called me about the Firestorm FRS, but I'd already purchase my Whiteout 6 AT from Maita Toyota on 6/1/12 already. Did they sell it to you for MSRP?

Yeah you have to go east towards the hills to get good roads. This is my first "drivers" car so I am just learning the roads now. This website has them well labeled http://www.motorcycleroads.us/regions/ca_central.html. I have done 245 starting in Woodlake and its pretty fun.

@ Gannicus - Yeah, no markup. They also gave me more than KBB for my Sunset Pearlescent '06 Eclipse. Funny thing is, they turned that car around in less than a week too.

Hey all, just bought my Asphalt 6MT at Hanford Toyota/Scion on Saturday. Just went there again today; they still have an Argento AT if anyone's interested.

Anyway, hope we can have some central valley meets soon!

Buy it! It's a fun car. And then we can have two car meets, since it seems the thread died a while ago. XD
