Thanks! Im sure you can. Another member on here is running 225/40 as well. Hayashi from Hawaii are running on that size, although he's going to 235 later on. You might wanna ask him how the ride is.

Hey Joe, thanks. Yes, running on Tien street basis. They run great, although i have this clunking noise on front passenger side. This noise comes when i make a turn on low speed. Seems like the coils dont sit and rattle. Its only that side

Thanks! No rubbing issues at all. 9.5 width all around. Set all the way down on coilovers. No problems on making U-turns.

Thanks! Go for it! I first saw them in person on a whiteout.. Its lowered all the way down so can't get any lower. I think they just sit right. Concave gives that aggressive look with this set up even if it pokes out. Here's that pic of the whiteout that convinced me pick up these wheels the following day..

18x9.5 +40 265/35/18 FITTED

brought to you by @AZP Installs give them a shout if you need anything, ESPECIALLY alignments and track prep.

18x9.5 +40 semi gloss black Rays Gramlights 57xtreme
265/35/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE-11

okay here are some recent updates so that people who run something similar dont run into surprises, might as well use my experience to help.

First of all, YOU WILL RUB at first. its the plastic part of the rear bumper, its not a big deal and will rub itself out of you can dremel it. (the corner to the bumper inside the fender)

Second i had an issue with my passenger fender, it rubbed on the part closest to the sidemarkers. if you feel the fender there, it isn't rolled anymore and flares out, you want to roll that part in to avoid any issues in the future or else you risk chipping the paint or gashing the tire....i luckily caught it early.

Third, and probaby most important. once we let the KW's settle we had to take camber out. it settle to around -3.5' in the rear. i did not want to run that much at all, nor do i need that much for clearance issues. we maxed out the camber arms (cusco) which net me a minimum or -2 degrees. once we set the camber to -2 the stock toe arms were simply not enough to fix the toe issue thus i had to order whitline adjustable toe arms.

I WILL UPDATE WITH MY FINAL ALIGNMENT SPECS...for now i'm waiting for a few things to be done/come in for the car until i get to drive it and get it back on the alignment rack...

running -2 all around. NO issues. the only place it rubbed was the rear bumper, but that rubbed itself out

i plan on taking some camber out of the rear. -2 is too much IMO.

I look forward to seeing this with less camber, not a huge fan of that look. Even so it looks great right now. With this setup would a 275 or 285 wide tire work in the rear? Any pics of clearance to the coilover front and back?

275/35s could def fit the rear without any camber or drop at all on the car, I currently run 265/35-18 on a 18x9.5 +38 wheel and there's alot of room

looks sick!

how much of a drop?

I'd be quite conservative running 255\35\18 with same 57xtremes 9.5" ET40 in the rear )

I wounder how negative should I camber them
