Introducing the new CR-V A S Spec
I'd never buy an A-spec, but I'd buy a Type-R.

I imagine a lot of people would buy the latter as well regardless of what it was tacked on to. Look at Nismo for example.. lol

Acura is a CUV brand. Nobody cares about anything else, least of all Acura. Just look at their commercials.

ILX still uses the 9th gen Civic platform, which was discontinued almost 3 years ago and was possibly the worst Civic platform ever, lol.

Acura TLX Type-S Concept

I like the looks but it really needs to be RWD.

Looks like Camaro and Mustang had a baby, not that that's a bad thing.

Soon everything will be AWD and hybrid/electric. Rear wheel drive is on the wrong side of history.

True, but if we compare it to other cars in its class then FWD is less common. We have the following in RWD: Infiniti Q60, the Lexus IS/GS/RC, the BMW 3/4 series, the Audi 4/5 series, Cadillac CT5/6, etc. and this is just a sample from a few manufactures. I'm having a hard time thinking of a FWD luxury vehicle, except some compacts like the BMW X1 and Audi A3/Q3.
