Nice job Spaceywilly. Thank you.
I'm liking the looks of that FRS front.... Now if Scion would just offer the upgraded interior as an option, I'd be all set.

I just realized that in the bottom picture of the interior of the BRZ, that might be a premium model not the limited, because it has cloth seats and not leather\alcantara. It also does not have a Navigation system too. I was always under the impression that the navigation system was standard on both BRZ models? I guess not. The GT86 picture on top is defiantly a High-Spec loaded GT86. GT86 with Navigation on top and BRZ with Navigation on bottom. Last edited by tripjammer; 12-31-2011 at 09:43 PM. |

I'm BRZ bound but really like the front bumper on the FR-S.
Either way, my front bumper has to come "undrilled". I think that putting a front plate on any car, let alone this one (or check the RX-8 if you want ugly), really kills the look. |

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I currently own a 2006 Scion TC and am very interested in the FRS. I prefer the body stylings of the FRS, and prefer the headlights on the BRZ, but I'm not gonna spend all that money to swap em out. The interior on the FRS also looks vastly superior to me. I hate shiny silver.
As a 29 year old now, I'm over doing any mods that don't enhance performance. Body mods ALWAYS end up getting hit or scraped up, and it lowers the value of the car. I had a 96 civic a long time ago and riced the crap outta that thing, and installed a lip kit on my TC, but even that got jacked up on parking spots, curbs, etc... :P I'm gonna wait to get one until I know there's no major issues like when the 2003 Nissan 350Z came out with all the tire wear issues. Also, I never buy new anymore after buying my TC. Waste of money. It's worth at least 20% less as soon as you leave the dealer. I'd rather get a 2013 with a few thousand miles for 5k less. I just wish the FRS came in that royal blue color like the BRZ. |

Since the BRZ/FR-S are pretty much the same car but different tuning on the springs, I think I'm gonna go with the BRZ because the front just looks a lot meaner, then i'll just tune the springs to be the same as FR-S.
good idea? will it work? |

That being said, I'd Think ALOT of people would swap out for more aggressive spring/damper combos or Coilovers. So getting used OEM Springs and Dampers from other owners should be easy. You'll have to wait a while though

can someone please show me the interior difference between the FR-S and BRZ? Which one do you like better? FR-S/BRZ interior? What's with the different dash/AC controls, etc between the FR-S and GT86 and the BRZ?

Most feel the BRZ limited's dual-zone climate controls look best. Feelings are split on whether the faux metal (BRZ) or the faux carbon fibre (FR-S) look better on the dash. Base HU in the FR-S is an abomination. IP: some prefer all-black of Subie, others the white tach of the FR-S. |
