You can test it. However modern a/c stuff is way more efficient, I'm pretty sure this a/c clutch disengages when the engine goes to 100% load as well as if it's above 90% throttle

I believe TopGear logic says it's ~2-5 hp. Doesn't matter on the road, might matter on the track.

Add a racing stripe and you'll get it back plus a few more hp.

Just my $0.02 CAD.

this car releases the A C clutch when the engine load is high so it will be identical with it on or off

And, I thought that when the A/C was on it also cooled the air going into the air intake thingy.. all round coolness!
