Leftover pizza and Tabasco?

My wife likes to order Dominos pizza about once every eight weeks or so. It's the only thing she orders. She always asks me what I want and I always tell her I'm not very hungry. I'm not a huge fan actually. But the next day I can't seem to get enough of it. I'll douse it with Tabasco, maybe add a little extra cheese, throw it on some foil and bake it until it's crisp and frying in it's own grease.

Am I alone?

I've worked the last decade building stone-hearth cooking equiptment. I'm no stranger to artisan pizza. I appreciate a thin crust with pancetta, arugula, egg, candied nuts, goat cheese, balsamic glaze, shaved truffle, pine nuts, cracked pepper, etc. as much as anyone. But there's something about cheesy leftover pizza with Tabasco. It will always have a place in my heart, and in my pancreas.

That is the most hipster pizza I have ever heard described.

It's actually fairly typical for Northwestern WA.
Also it just comes with being in the industry.

That does NOT help the hipster defense!

I put Tabasco sauce on my salad in place of dressing. I put Tabasco on hot dogs, hamburgers... ramen... Pizza is no exception. I make Alfredo sauce pizza at home, with pepperoni, hotdog, Mexican cheese blend and Ortega medium taco sauce.

You are not alone. All the men in the Hawk clan eat pizza that way, reheated or not. In fact, when we order pizza, we order extra pizza just for the purpose of having it left over, particularly if there is a deal going on.

You can take pretty much any standard delivery pizza, leave it in the delivery box, and throw it directly in the freezer, then pull it out a few pieces at a time as needed for the snack or meal. I prefer to oven heat it but it will thaw in the microwave just fine.

I personally prefer Texas Pete over Tabasco when it comes to commercial hot sauce because that's what I grew up with in NC though. TP and butter is also what was used for the original buffalo wing sauce in Buffalo.

I put fresh sliced jalapenos on my pizza. Tabasco works in a pinch for me, but the vinegar taste is not my fave on pizza.

Im also from the "Three toppings - no more" camp.

Jalapenos, pineapple, and fresh sliced tomatos

I would add jalapenos.

MomHawk has a (real) gluten allergy so can only order pizza a couple of places. When she does she gets pineapple and onion, which I just can't understand but I let it go.

100% homemade thin crust with lotsa sauce, pepperoni, cheese, & roasted garlic.

Big ol' ceramic floor tile in the oven. Mmmmm... leftovers.

Dude, leftover pizza is almost its own other thing. And there's absolutely no reason to be interested in different varieties of it; yes, day-old refrigerated pizza is another variety. You know how stew tends to taste "better" once it's been refrigerated or frozen a few days? Yeah. Shit is good, yo.
