And e85... if someone breaks 210whp on 91 or 93 octane I'll be more impressed.

What is most impressive about the dyno Nelson posted is the shape of the "curve", it's stupidly linear.

@P&L Motorsports makes one. Here's a thread about it.

My quality EL headers do not rumble. When I worked a Subaru we had an older STI come in with EL headers. No rumble... Sounded similar to an sr20det ;-)

Add Chevrolet Corvair to the list. ;-)

And yes, I realise that in the past other manufactures have used boxer engines, but now it is only Subaru and Porsche, and Porsche engines don't have the rumble.

Really is a moot point...
The point is that Subaru boxers are the only ones that rumble because of the uel header design.....

That's because Porsche engines have a manifold (header) per cylinder bank, and are EL (or at least MUCH closer to EL than a stock Subaru manifold).

Subaru also makes 6 cylinder boxers, and they don't rumble at all... even stock.

I know all this bud, that was my whole point. The rumble is because of the exhaust manifold, not the boxer engine.
Yes I realise Subaru make 6cyl boxers. The 250hp-ish 3.0l was a great engine and sounded like a Porsche haha.
I preferred driving liberty 3.0bspec to GT liberty or WRX when I worked at Subaru for 3 years or so. They sounded great :-)
