@Ultramaroon take the lint out of your fuzzy belly button before you snap any selfies.

@cdrazic93
I had updated my op yesterday with "One Week On".
Seriously, my only regret is I didn't go with higher rate springs. I'm thinking Tein's recommendation for their SRCs of 10k/12k would have been perfect but how was I to know? Ah well. First track day with the dampers 9th March. Wooohoo!

Have you run without stabilizers in previous vehicles? I think it was a courageous move and I keep thinking to myself "There must be a downside!" Is there?

I eagerly await your lap times, sir.

@Captain Snooze I was creeping your "Help On Deciding Spring Rates" thread and now this one as I am in the same boat, only I am still a little ways out until I can justify the cash for coilovers. Thanks for posting your journey. It has been very helpful in my own research. I really look forward to reading how you make out at the track!

As I've said many times "everything's a compromise". The spring rates I have now aren't "bad" or a poor choice; it's just that I don't mind a little street uncomfortablenesss (is that even a word?) for more track benefit. Also, different people have different views on what constitutes comfortable or uncomfortable.

It would make spring choice easier if you could get a ride with somebody whose car has the same dampers as the ones you are after.

[1] Nope but my BRZ is the first car I have owned which I have modded to the extent that I have.
[2] I don't see/feel any downside as yet. There might be a little more roll than with the previous spring rates with sway bars but it is a close thing. Now that I have independent suspension is a huge win.
[3] You and me both.

Given that you are in the U.S. (I think that's the case looking at your details) I think it would be relatively easy for you to get a ride with somebody whose car has the same dampers as the ones you are after.

My mistake. I shall amend my post.

Edit, yeah, sort of fixed.
