Freaking envy your previous job . Yup, it's true. I also think it's very personal to me that I grew up with 600-700whp heavy cars, (supras, trucks and SUVs) so as soon as I hit 450-600whp I felt the FRS was amazing being how light it is but the drive back home from the dyno made me realize it's not enough; solidifying the heroin point im currently building a lighter car than the FRS with a 2j.

Tl;dr : If this is your first car that ull boost or build, and you do actually drive hard and beat the shit out of it; in no time you'll wrap a 86 around a tree with sub 400whp

In terms of feel, given the same power, a turbo feels quickest, twin screw SC next, centrifugal SC last.

What tires are you running? Obviously not street tires.

I have got the stock tires to hook a high 1.98 I ran a hoosier drag radial to hook a 1.85. I also changed the preload, dampening of the struts and ride height to tune in the 60ft

To that end I wonder if it's worth the cost of going turbo for the feels. I am half way into saving for the Ptuning kit but that JRSC is within striking range.

Around town, the JRSC does not feel fast; you still have to get the revs up like stock to get a good feel or the power. I'd go with a turbo or Edelbrock for "feel".

I'd compare the feel of a centrifugal supercharger on the twins to being more like an S2000. You still will need to wring it a bit, but when you do there is a ton up top, especially from 3rd gear onward.

You want a twin screw if you want a larger engine feel vs. a higher powered high revving engine feel in the centrifugal.

A turbo just usually climbs quicker in torque compared to a centri., and most kits will get you to the point where clutch, axles will be more vulnerable. The t wins seem to be OK up to around 9 to 9.5 PSI without any injectors/fuel pump, as well as clutch etc mods.
