I got a ticket.
Hey FT86club,
I got a ticket in the middle of last year, August 12 2012. And I took defensive driving for it. It's still getting processed right now, should be done some time this week. And I just got a ticket this past weekend for speeding. 80mph in a 70. The ticket's gonna be $180. What are my options? Cause I don't think I can take defensive driving again for this ticket cause it was within 12 months of my last ticket. Thanks in advance. |

What **** gave you a ticket for going 10mph over? Usually, 10mph no one really bats an eye at. You might get stuck paying this one man sorry.

That's what I'm saying. Everyone in front and behind me were going 80 also. And it was also in the backroads, not in the city. And that's what I was thinking...

All of my tickets have been from going 5-10mph over. As a result, I bought a Valentine One radar detector. I consider it as an investment and haven't received a ticket since then.

When I lived in Killeen tx. A little town down the road called nolanville, was in the Guinness book of world records for the most tickets per population.. They would give tickets for anything over 55.. Dating how old that is lol.. And the judge would make it stick.. Because, according to him, 56 is speeding.. People in the know in I195 would slow down to 50 then speed back up lol.. It was stupid... But the town had bank because of it..
Here you can do 5 over no problem, and 10 over on the 15 and usually get away with it.. I've done 15 on the bike and CHP never moved.. In the car I usually cruise at or 5 over And yeah.. I think your stuck with this one.. Maybe talk with a traffic lawyer |
