For sure! I’m usually pretty stoked on remakes and reboots until I read the reviews. Then my interest fizzles out. Completely forgot about the Pete’s Dragon remake. Never watched the BenHur remake, it sounded so bad. I think 3:10 to Yuma was one of the few cases where I liked the new version better than the original.

Didn't even know they made a BenHur remake...

Hogfather is available again this month on Prime.

Pratchett co-authored Good Omens as well.

Have an enjoyable Hogswatch!

One Disney I always enjoyed watching with the kids was Rescuers Down Under. Great cast of voices, and George C Scott was hysterical as the villian. Didn't do well at the box office since came out same time as Home Alone.

If course, in my opinion, Aladdin is still the best animated Disney ever made.

One of my favorite movies as a small child was apparently Pete's Dragon. Also Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Only because the car was amusing, I know nothing about the plot.

When I was a small child, there were no vhs. Once a year, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and also once The Wzzard of Ozz were on tv. They were big nights.

Same here. My favorite nights of the year were:

The Wizard of Oz
All the Charlie Brown holiday shows
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
The Grinch/Frosty (usually shown on the same night).

Oh and Halloween Friday because the local station showed monster movies all night (from 11p to 7a) and my parents would let me stay up and watch them.

Right brand wrong model. They should have first done a movie about the Lancia Stratos. It set the stage for the 037. But I guess they wanted to have all the action and the 2WD vs. 4WD conflict plus, the last RWD car to win the WRC.

Started watching the "Road to Le Man's" by Porsche and Michael Fassbender. Where Michael basically one day decided to get into racing, contacted Patrick Dempsey, and eventually made his way into Le Man's in a year's time. It was interesting to see how much it would take a noobie to get up to speed and acclimated to something that takes others years to achieve, and this guy made it in so little time.

Got me inspired and stated researching into Porsche Racing and all of their programs. But got my heart-broken since they don't take just anyone, and also no one above 25yo. So naturally, part of the reason why Michael got the opportunity he did, was because of who he is and who he knew.
