You ever walked out to a frost covered car in the morning when its only like 40 degrees to drive to work? Heated seats are nice.

Get over it.

No, most of you ARE idiots because you think you can have the High Spec model for the price the FRS is expected to be.

You want stuff for free! Either pay for it (i.e. buy the High spec model) or spend less for the low spec and add stuff. Either way, you are not getting the High spec USDM version goodies for the cost of a Low Spec.

Everyone that wants an 86 in Canada is buying an FRS unless you like wasting your money.

No, i AGREE that the price difference will be quite large..i was just making an example for finances sake.

Half of the thing you guys crying about will be in the accessories book.
The car will be cheaper and then you can add anything you want and make it freaking luxurious.

The only big let down is the HVAC... BUT the you guys are again crying about it over the form not the function. Most of us dont care about dual zone a/c

We had car with heated seat 20 years ago... it was working good until it broke. Plus its heavy and more $$$ and still dont get it why you crying about heated seat in a car like this.... get a lexus!
I bet the amount of work it will take to upgrade a low spec frs to a high spec 86 will cost more than the msrp difference. What if you prefer the styling of the 86 over the BRZ? Convert it?

Bottom line is the high spec should have been an option. Scion dropped the ball.

You would think with everything they cut from the car they would have taken away the euro rear bumper indicators.

At this point though it seems like every thread is going to be about how to retro fit LEDs, squeeze a toaster oven under the seats, cut the springs and fit 19s with 30 series tires, or wire in a push button that starts the car while gently massaging your bawls.

Wow that center console does make me want to puke, but if that's what it takes to lower the cost, wonderful.

Who said anything about getting it for the same price? Most of the people you are all calling "whiners" just want them as an option. WHICH should be the case given this is Scion and the offer tons of customization.

Whiners whining about whiners whining. WTF Lets all just wait for more details and stop

Offering multi tier models is something Scion does not do.
