Figured out that my rattling reverse lockout is actually a rattling gear knob. Got the one from WC Lathe works and I guess didn't tighten it all the way. It was tight but I twisted it further about quarter of a turn to almost half a turn. Then I accelerated hard and heard no rattling. I guess being a $10 cheap chinese reverse lockout, you'd think that's what it is. Readjusting the knob was a pain. Lost the allen key to it and had to find a suitable thing for the screwdriver and do that clockwise anti clockwise thing until the shift pattern lined up perfectly. At least now I can accelerate hard without the car sounding like a can of tuna.

Is the picture a bit distorted, or is that really fat and flat?

I'd either bend the front plate to at least sorta follow the contours of the bumper, or better yet, remove it all together since the car is not a DD. No tickets here and we've never had a front plate on ours (logged about 8K miles on it since purchase in '13). Ditch that monstrosity!

I take it off at shows... I have an extra toe hook cover. Oh, and I fixed the license plate bracket😉

I leave it on for driving around town because not having it would give cops a reason to pull me over... they are itching to do it and my car already draws enough attention in my town.

Bought a K&N drop-in filter because I'm overdue to change my filter anyway. Expectations are high. Will dyno it this weekend, it better give me 200HP!

Well, during my research on which filter I should get I stumbled upon the following information.

I will get better throttle response.
I will get more high-end power.
I will need a new clutch, exhaust, cupholder, shift knob.
I will get at least 200HP added. It will become a 400HP BEAST!

Got Nokian ZLine tires, I should be good. Might need to go wider though. I do need to remove the screwdriver from the trunk though. This filter is lighter, so I need to balance the car.

You've got a screwdriver? How the hell does that work? Searching YouTube for a "how to"

Will mine be right handed as I'm from the UK?
