Well f*** ft86speed factory straight to hell. I pre order my rims with hub centric rings, get them and go to get them mounted and the stupid hubcentric rings they sent me re the wrong size so now ft86speed factory has wasted so much of my time and now cant even put my 1600 dollar rims on because ft86 just f***ed me so thanks for that ft86.

If you didn't know, hub centric rings are not mandatory, just something that quickens/simplifies centering. Wheel gets centered by tightening conic seat lugnuts. If they are tightened well, wheels can be mounted just fine even if center hole is bigger. If nuts will get undone, no rings will save anyway. I'm not getting why publicly bash shop just because of one mistake (they most probably would try to fix as soon as they can).

Put them on anyways. Just make sure you tighten your lug nuts in a star pattern. Doing them in stepped intervals of torque is also good practice and makes it even if you somehow put it on weird...

Guys i was so pissed off yesterday it wasn't cool to rip on ft86 but it still was dhitty to send the wrong rings. I live in the desert and drove 2 hours to my dads house to get em put on over the weekend and thats why i was so pissed yesterday that i couldnt put em on. Now i read that you can use no hubcentric ring if you have cone seated lugs and i bought cone seated lugs but when i got the wheels mounted they said u cant run them without a ring or theyll bounce around. I asked about the taper lugs holding them in place and they said no. I appreciate Joe-G and churchx reassuring me on the taper lugs in a star pattern and i put them on myself and can't be happier.
Since i still don't understand how to make my pictures smaller heres a link to my car https://www.reddit.com/r/ft86/commen...x9_im_in_love/

FYI, the OEM lug nuts are also cone seated. Wheels look great! I think it has solidified my purchase. Thinking I should place an order for these now so they will get here before summer ends lol (Canada).

Not so Breit: remember after hundred or two miles driven to check lugnuts and retighten them as needed.
Of course, one should make such check after recent remount as habbits no matter if hub is of right bore or not, with or without hubcentric rings, as after some driving/heating cycles after initial mount lugnuts sometimes may undo a bit.

Anyone got the size of the hub centric rings for the 18 x 9.5 +38? I can't find the exact bore size on their site. Even if I Google translate it lol
