I've had my '13 GBS Ltd BRZ one week...AND
... I've had more people (that I don't know) comment on my car in parking lots & gas stations than any other car I've owned to date.
"gorgeous". "sweet ride". "nice wheels". "love the color!". "what is that?". "thats a subaru?". These are the comments I've heard so far, and its only been 5 days! LOL |

Yeah I'm surprised I still get compliments after all these years. Latest was from my friend and his wife who were staying over the weekend. He just bought a GT3 RS and his wife owns a Panamera turbo so I wasn't expecting any compliments, but both loved how my FR-S looked when they saw it in my garage. I think these are objectively good looking cars if there's such a thing.
Congrats on your BRZ btw!

It's been a while since I've received a compliment probably because the twins are fairly common around LA/OC.. but I do still get stares!

I expected a totaled BRZ. I am disappoint.
Kidding aside, I've had one compliment from a random stranger at a gas station. That's about it. Here in California, twins are as common as a Mustang GT, Subaru WRX/STi, 370Z, and any other attainable sports car. |

I find that my car is a big hit with men over 60 yrs old, and boys under 12. Those are the only two groups that seem to notice, especially at gas stations. There's a young kid down the street that cheers every time I drive by his yard.

I posted a pic, in another thread. But here is it again:
Here is NJ, the BRZ isn't as popular as the FRS. Also, there seems to be alot of the black, dark grey, & red ones (of either brand). These are of course more typical "sports car" colors. The GBS color is more unique, & makes the car look more expensive than it really is (IMHO). I love that it was only available for its first year in 2013, but it made finding one to buy more difficult. |

I guess people in Chicago don't care. I almost never get any compliments, lol.
