What is this, and where can I get one?

100k, throwing bearing is destroyed.
Apparently it took this transmission cover, imput shaft carrier with it....

What is the official name of this part and what is the best place to get one, although I'm assuming it's a dealer only item.

DANG ...... that is a mess ........

The TOB is commonly called a "through out bearing" or "release bearing".

If you get a replacement one from a dealer, be sure to ask for the new, improved version.
