Are you shipping one to me? Should I call to order this week?

@FullBlown,

did you add additional vents anywhere to let the air that goes through the cooler escape? It seems like once air gets in there it doesn't go anywhere easily.

Good work

Chris, I will email you as soon as we get the final pieces. We will have enough to fill all orders

There is enough flow behind it to escape. Only other option is to cut the splash guard, which I don't recommend.

Any chance you could do a log of you flogging the turboed car with this kit to show the oil temps?

I already posted about my oil temps in the thread in the less inducted forum. I did a log for John last night and in 6 3rd gear pulls in 66F degree weather I hit 255F oil temps. I have hit as high as 280s just doing 3rd gear pulls. I can post a graph of the oil temps if you would like as well.

Holy hell that's warm. Although I hit 250 in 50 degree weather myself... I wasn't flogging it...too much.

No. The oil cooler is not available yet. That is with the OEM oiling system.

Most FI cars are easily seeing 270+. Mine has hit 278 on track. The cusco water-oil cooler apparently has a 265 f thermostat which I thought was high.

I'm in market for a cooler atm, very keen to see before and after logs of oil temp with this kit. May be interested in testing it on my RHD car.

Kit looks very robust.
How much drop in pressure can be expected from this kit? Any tips on compensating for reduced pressure?
Also, does it come with thermostat?

No problem with pressure drop. Cooler oil will actually increase in pressure. Yes, It does come with a thermostat.
