Corey - [HRDPKR] - Melbourne, Australia

Hey Guys,

Thought I would start a build thread of my car, basically purchased in early February 2014 as a new daily replacing my 2007 Audi A4 and has pretty much been an obsession ever since. I originally started with the objective to have some nice wheels and go as low as possible however I quickly realised that I need to do more.

Basically my early build consisted of

Wheels:

- Work Emotion Kiwami (GTS)- 18x9.5 +38 all round
- Hankook RS3 - 225/40/18

Suspension

- D2 Racing Coilovers

Interior

- JPM Coachworks Dash Re-trim
- JPM Coachworks Cluster Hood
- Pioneer AV5550x Headunit

Exterior

- Beatsonic Sharkfin Antena (Type 1) (D4S)
- BRZ fender garnish (D4S)

This setup lasted me from around the day I purchased the car until around June where I felt the need to do more to make my car stand out with the emergence of so many standard and similarly modified 86's and BRZ's. I decided to go all out and really differentiate my car with a few hard to get parts and also to increase the practicality of driving on Australian roads. I completed the build around a month ago and have been really happy with the way it has turned out, it has been a few months in the making to get the car where it is today but I am sure I will be leaving it like this for some time

Wheels

- CCW LM5T Staggered 18x9.5, 18x10
- Achillies ATR Sport 215/40 (f), 225/40 (r)

Suspension
- Airrex Wireless Airbag Suspension + Air Management + Camber Tops
- Truhart Rear Lower Control Arms
- Truhart Rear Toe Arms

Interior

- Hertz Energy Component Speakers

Exterior

- Leg Motorsport Ducktail Spoiler
- OEM Toyota Weather Shields
- Red Crystal Eye Tail Lights
- Rexspeed Carbon Fibre Front Lip
- Rexspeed Carbon Fibre Side Skirts
- Rexspeed Carbon Fibre Rear Pods
- Personalised Number Plates [HRDPKR]

Perfromance

- Invidia Q300 Catback Exhaust
- Perrin Cold Air Intake

As I get off my restricted license in Australia in May I am unsure whether to continue this build of move on to something a little more powerful, my future plans were to tidy up my boot setup and also do something about a sub install. I originally wanted to re-spray my car midnight purple 3 as well but I may not be able to justify the price of that otherwise I am also looking to change my license plates to something new.

Let me know what you think

@Defuser - I leant them to a mate while I was changing the suspension, he apparently couldn't respect my things enough and drove with a hangover and destroyed one of the wheels when he hit a curb, he did buy them from the supplier where i traded mine in though

The offset was too high anyway for the height I am aired out and would have tucked heaps They were awesome wheels though still a favourite of mine, even considered buying the 2 piece version work just released

Gah, that sucks!! You went a completely different way with the new styling, so maybe it was a blessing in disguise?

Yeah definitely was, this is the first car I have actually modified so the first parts I bought were meant to be just nice genuine parts but then i wanted to try build something that had its own identity especially with the number of our cars going around at the moment. My biggest regret is probs the plates. I was obessed with Greg's BRZ in the states and nobody had the plates in Australia and i thought they suited my car, but i wish I did something a little more original
