Anyone wanna buy this stuff? I know someone can benefit... Brand new C30 high boost pulley and brand new hard intake pipe/couplers (replaces V1 full silicone pipe). (Ignore the 4 bar MAP sensor - this is already sold)

Hm mine doesn’t flutter, just wine a little and hissing when lifting

It seems there are different “normal” behaviors?

I can clearly hear that recirc valve is open based on the whistling sound when engine is idling. It sounds like working to me. Checking MAF reading at idle would be good. It should be 2.8 - 3.0 g/s.

Thinking about getting this kit for my AT. Will this kit be reliable for 260HP? I'm not hungry for more horsepower, just wanted a little more oomph in my daily driving.

It's one of the more reliable kits for the platform. So at that level it should be perfectly fine (with proper tuning, supporting mods, and approval from CSG Mike).

Question:

For those of you running Flex Fuel/e85 on the C30 w/ Stock Pulley - have you had any issues? Also - are you running stock fuel pump and injectors or did you upgrade those?

I am considering going HBP later in the future, when/if I decide I want anymore power, and know I would have to do injectors/pump at that point, but if there is no reason for them just running the stock pulley and E85, I’d rather wait.

I’ll be primarily tracking it, so I’ve been told E85 is a better option because it burns much cooler, but I’m also concerned with pushing the motor to its limit, and worried that the extra power from E85 may do that.

Any insight is greatly appreciated!

No issues, with a good tune. Injectors and pump are recommended, as duty cycle will be VERY high on stock systems.

I had a number two rod failure. Catastrophic, destroyed the entire engine. Only my passenger side head blank was reusable, as it was machined for larger valves. It was not reusable with stock valves. C30 on regular pulley and e85 with full exhaust. The rods are the weakest link in my experience. It was epic fun though!

I had a custom engine built. It’s not done yet. Very long process. I would not do it again. I will leave it at that.

Radium or Mishimoto PCV Catch Can?? Is the boomba check valve only needed for the Mishimoto, or would I need to grab one for the Radium also?

Thanks!
