it is still crazy for the rich and powerful. i saw one guy from AUH driving a 911 with some double digit plate he was cruising like hell and got a light from a local police.. when they flash him to stop he did stop. but after he walks out. he seems like scolding the 2 police guys that was just head low and bowing from a teacher..

It's crazy there!! That was my experience as well..the license plate thing is strange as well. Our range rover we built for a sheik had the plate "E 8" and I guess that's a good one cause despite the fact this was a sick car we had more people interested in taking pictures of the plate itself. Total status thing over there I guess.

This is the third or fourth 86 so far to report a CEL issue... Seems like we didnt escape the recall..

Just wondering how can we determine this cel issue specially for noobz like me who are not mechanically inclined?

The lesser the # the most expensive.. #1 owns by the Ruler of Dubai then the rest of it are bought or bid into.. The plates are far more expensive than the cars it self.. So that #8 perhaps 3x the price than the range rover maybe more..

The day I received my car the After Sales Manager told me that there another car with A/T has the same issue. But, we shouldnt worry, I drive the car everyday and everything seems normal. Took the car last week to Yas Practice Drift session and still no CEL/SL. its defiantly fixed.

Alright.. Let me try that once im done with my 1k service.. I think its better to face it now so al futtaim can replace it and dont need to worry later on..

I got 500km on mine now. But I have not hit redline yet. Still trying to keep below the 4K rpm as per the manual.

i did hit my first Redline last friday!! all smiles on my way home. im on my 1210K now. still no sign of "sickness" i hope i wont have to.. will try to hit the redline one more time when i have the chance..

just Honk away once you see Lightning red on SZR whos driving like a maniac..
