Not mine, but now it is (aka, another "got mine" thread)

I've been wait-listed with no ETA since pre-ordering back in mid-March. Was really beginning to WANT the car lately as the weather was getting nicer - every sunny drive home from work made me want my BRZ that much more. Well Friday I get a call that an identical model was pre-ordered and that person backed out. So I was there two hours earlier, bought it, and drove home! May have been someone on these forums (the story sounded familiar) - Carter Subaru in Shoreline - Silver Limited, manual transmission.

I read all of the reviews about how great the car is, how sharp it turns, etc...and I have to say I was a little skeptical that most reviews were just folks jumping on the bandwagon. But I was wrong - it is that good. And the learning curve is non-existent - you feel so comfortable with the car from the first drive.

Anyway, just wanted to add to the hype a little bit. And special thanks to Joe Spitz at Carter - he was great in keeping me up to date, no-pressure on anything, and honest/upfront. Check out his site if you get a chance - tons of great info (specs and news - http://www.cars101.com - I told him I'd give his site a plug. ).
