TRD is going to show off the kit and re-badged parts under the TRD umbrella that is fine.

I hope they'll show a supercharger kit, be it even a prototype. It will at least calm down the FI crowd.

+1.. but i dont think it will "calm down the FI crowd" i think just the opposite, it will rile up both sides.. witch is always funny

i am part of the FI crowd but kinda have my doubts that they would show even a prototype before the launch. hope im wrong

I don't think they will introduce or show a prototype of any FI.

I would put money on them only showing handling, intake and exhaust with a lip kit. They have focused on marketing the handling and how fun an exciting a car with a little hp can be. If they introduced the possibility of a FI model then they would loose a lot of initial sales as people waited for this more powerful model.

But also more power = less afforadable. In any case, I am more interested in performance parts than in any kind of FI.

well if there are only TRD parts, and no stand alone TRD model, then we just may see a supercharger kit in the future... one can only hope!

I think it would be epic if they had a supercharger on it for the announcement, but i doubt it will happen. I wonder if this will translate to the same for the fr-s, whatever it is they decide to show off.

Hope so! Sometimes other markets get different things. Like everyone else except the us market got the focus st and svt versions of the focus are garbage. Hope parts availability is the same across the board

scion markets TRD USA parts not TRD JAPAN parts, and there definitely is a difference.

I was speaking more as a marketing aspect not continent specific parts meaning the tC has TRD parts

TRD = Totally regrettable decision. Kidding, but they need to step it up.
