black buttons????

Its been a while since I posted I hope all my fellow FRS/BRZ owerns are doing well .

I like the shift knob, one more item I will need to order to complete the all black interior

I have the majority of my parts just need this and two more to complete, yet to finish installing them though.

Some of you may know but I had been doing some research on the climate control swap ..... I should hear something back by 6 pm eastern that may be good news as far as that is concerned . Unless someone has already has the information or figured it out. Anyways I am awaiting a phone call hopefully before 6pm eastern that should be very exciting news or it could be someone blowing smoke either way I ll let you guys know.

Also the Release series headlights are now availible for sale at my local dealership they are 370 a piece. Much cheaper than what I have seen on other sites.

I know that was but running short on time so I ll be back or post if I here some good news or start new thread if this guy pulls through

Recieved the phone call I was waiting for. No good News. Apparently thereis something called "Toyota Special" its for parts internationally and in the states and only higher ups at dealerships. No one wantsto give up hte part numbers for the release series.....however the release seriesheadlights are avail at my local dealership...so maybe in due time......once again big letdown...orginal guy I spoke with made it sound like a slam dunk

Does anyone have the part number for the Automatic all black shift knob?

I still need the RH LH door levers

Steering wheel insert

Radio Fascia

Anyone who has purchased the Knee pad and speaker panels and have them installed with the all black interior can you post post pics and now do you like them compared to not having them. I guess question is are they worththe extra money to add to the all black interior?\

Sco where you able to get anymore info on climate control I know youand i where trying pretty hard to get the info let me know

Honestly, I put it on halt for now to pursue a different part of my build. I was able to find the wiring harness needed from the 10 series and everything else but unable to order at the moment. My local dealers parts system has no price, no info, and no ability to order as it's still not in the system. Once it becomes available to order I'll look into it again.

On a side note I watched the video posted in the general topic thread with the different tuned 86's and started to care a little less about that and a lot more about engine parts :-D

After one day driving around with the black interior, I've already noticed I'm far less distracted by the silver shiny bits in my peripheral vision while driving :P

Yes I have an Auto FRS. Looking for part number for all black shift knob.

Also the paddle shifters that come on the automatic if they make those paddle shifters in black and if so does anyone know the part number.

You too buddy. I've never seen the auto knob in black, not saying it doesn't exist, just not aware of it. I think the auto is above the base model in the other countries so there is a chance it doesn't exist. Could be wrong though.

wow! so i ordered the black buttons using the numbers provided here and carson toyota sends me the ones for the auto trans. 9 days to ship and now i have to wait another 9 or 10 days to get the right part. i even called them to confirm that the part number was for the manual and they said yes. FML

so SU003-02487 is the black button Auto trans. 100% confirmed
