I just noticed that mine is doing the same thing. I will be bringing it in as soon as I get a chance.

I noticed the same thing too, but I applied some Gummi Pfledge Stift and it seemed to help the problem. Try lubricating it, maybe the rubber is getting a little dry

I don't think replacing the seal will do much. I think it goes much deeper than that. I think they will have to create a seal with a modified shape to compensate for improper design.
I took a quick video, you can barely see the area where it grabs.

NOT GOOD.... Something needs to be done about that ASAP....

Personally, I'd like to disable the feature altogether. It's not good for OCD after you wash your car. I CANNOT leave the little wet spot on the window every time it rolls down and up. It makes me not want to get in the car since I can't wipe the window without opening the door again. I spent an entire afternoon in my garage because of that. I keed, I keed!
Ohh first word problems...

Not the best pic, but you can see the curved imprint of where my window is rolling or moving the seal.

My window seal isn't deformed yet, but I just noticed this problem today, so this might have just started happening on my car.

This is only on the drivers side, so far.

mine does this too, it moves the weather stripping upward. I have OCD too, and I cant seem to leave my driveway till I get that straighten up everytime the window shuts close. I guess my fix will have to be to disable the window from going up n down everytime I open the door

Add me to the list of people with this issue. Definitely annoying. I'm going to talk to my dealership tomorrow and make sure this gets up the chain to Toyota.

The reason for this feature is because the glass goes up under the frame of the window in the car, so disabling it would mean you couldn't open or close the door without breaking the window. (But you know this.)

As far as the window seal problem, I've felt mine and it feels like the seal itself has become loosened in the area of the issue. Not sure if it is a result or the cause, but if you feel the full length of the window seal, for the most part it feels like the center of it is either glued or perhaps stuck into a groove in the metal, and in the problem area it isn't anymore. Anybody else notice this, or maybe you could go check yours and report back here?

My seal has been hit or miss when the window goes up. I have noticed after i wash my car i have condensation between the inside of the windy and the seal. Anyone else have the issue?

I told them about this when I did my 3k oil change and had them order the taillight. they just shrugged it off and said that because I "use the driver side door more than the passenger door, its going to happen." and would replace it when it became an issue.
