Standard M8, if you use bolts instead of studs with copper nuts, please be careful not to over torque. You can bend or break flange that way

Let us know if you need anything else

By standard do you mean M8x1.25? I meant M8 originally not M6. M8x1.25 is the more widely available thread pitch.

@AceHeader-MT I was very impressed with how cleanly/easily this installed on the car. Excellent quality part and sounded really nice on the stock '17 exhaust to my ears.

One minor detail that did get me a little miffed - the lack of including the two bolts needed to attach the over pipe to the front pipe. Thankfully, I have a large catalog of old bolts from past cars and was able to scrounge up two that worked perfectly.

Hey Johan,

Thanks for the feedback. We'll look into supplying the FP hardware in the future. The reason we don't now is not for cost but liability issues.

By re-using the original FP bolts it's almost impossible (*almost) to damage the OP's that come with our header kits. If we supply grade 8 bolts, they can easily be over torqued and strip or damage the OP.

Something we will certainly address moving forward.

Thanks again and happy to hear the install went well. We really do appreciate this kind of feedback from our users

Take care,
Ace Header

There aren't any bolts in the stock exhaust so there's nothing to reuse? We couldn't have installed the header without the spare bolts I had.
