I love the idea of painting the tach/speedo trim piano black. What paint did you use? Is it too reflective with the sun?

You could of course always change the seats or get some of those nice covers on the market.

Many black plastic trim pieces painted piano black. Painted silver trim was repainted professionally and clear coat added for higher quality finish:

Still have a couple things left to do. I want to repaint the silver trim pieces on a black base coat so they look more like chrome. Also want to paint the trim ring around the Engine Start button to match. Want to wrap the rear deck shelf in Alcantara and do the perforated door panel sections in perforated Alcantara. Then maybe I can call it quits

I had a bunch of trim parts painted by a body shop; not sure what specific brand or product they used. It's not reflective in a way that's distracting at all. DO IT! It looks so good

Quick release wheel, custom built cruise control unit, custom short shifter, custom all red interior lighting(soon to be robin egg blue), modified 10 Series Dash Trim kit. Also had a wrap, but i removed it to redo it in gloss white.

This is on a regular FR-S not a 10 Series.

TRD Steering Wheel
TRD Shift Knob with Red Logo
Red 86 plaque
Alcantera Dash
Perrin Black Drift Button
Cheap Korean Armrest

Pretty much wanted an "OEM+" style interior with some easy amenities. Only changes will be the legit arm rest and maybe an upgraded sound so the speakers don't rattle anymore

This is one of the best looking interiors that I've seen, absolutely love this. Where did you find the Recaro's and how difficult was it to custom fit them? Do the sliders work?
