Regards to idiots in these cars, last year my wife saw a guy in a BRZ do a doughnut at a busy 4 way with cars waiting right at the corner where I live and directly opposite to the high school!!!

However I have done a few doughnuts in the school parking lot over the years just to use up the stock tires. lol
I'd just start driving through the intersection. Dbag can stop, or hit me. Their choice.

In their defense, the "rusting screws" are usually rivets and don't rust if they are properly installed.

There are plenty of builds using rivet nuts, that don't rust as he said

I'm not defending this stupid rocket bunny fad, I'm just saying I've seen them installed in an alright way.

If you spent all that money, why would you not cover the fasteners? Why make it obvious you bolted ugly onto your car?

To understand, you have to go back in-the-day.

In the beginning...

Has anybody done custom metal work to widen the fenders/quarter panels? I'd like to see a wide body which looks more OEM.

I have seen them done as well as a rocket bunny can be done as well.... but the majority I've seen have been hackjobs. Self tappers and bodykits go together like milk and oreos.

There's a white one done very clean at the later part of the "meaty tire" thread. He squeezed a 295 or wider tire in there and it looks OEM.
