Obviously too late for you but maybe someone else can use it... I saw a hydraulic slave/throw out bearing combo(one unit) for the ft86 chassis somewhere. It was expensive but eliminates the clutch fork entirely. Would replace your slave and throw out bearing. This was functionally identical to those used on LS engines/transmissions

Bet it's the clutch. I had the same problem with light load and 2 high of gear.

thats actually when i hear and feel it. little bit heavier load, low rpm in the next gear. like getting out of 1st gear @ 10 mph and trying to accelerate a bit too much in 2nd. im assuming it should go away as everything wears in

Car got hit by a wood panel that fell off a truck in front of me going 70 on the highway. Didn't want to brake and get rear ended so the front bumper took the hit. Luckily, the only damage was loose grille and a few barely noticeable scratches.

Got home and clipped the grille back on and good as new! Kind of bummed out as I've only had the car for about 3 weeks. On the other hand, the wood piece didn't fly through the windshield.

Just for my own education, how do you know the compressor is bad from looking at that picture?

Refrigerant is leaking from the compressors casing. A seal (or something) has ruptured internally. Was slowly blowing bubbles in that picture
