The dongle is what holds the EcuTek license.
A brand new dongle is $165. A brand new cable is $150. Lowball offer but I will take the cable if you want to do $50 shipped. |

The dongle does not hold the Ecutek license. It is transferred from Ecutek servers to the ecu when used. The dongle is a pass key for the Ecutek software. The dongle ID is used by Ecutek to determine if it is allowed to use the license. If you have the dongle, you should sell it with the cable, otherwise it is useless. If your tuner kept your dongle, you should request they return it. With the dongle it is worth $275+
I'll offer you $51 for it with no dongle.
