The platform has zero factory support for sanctioned W2W racing and by design it really can only be competitive in one classification TCA. Even there after Rivera started showing some early domination (Road America), BOP changes sent him to the back of the pack. Now he is in a 370.
The twins will never be produced on the same scale as Mustangs and Camaros which is why you find them in far less abundance at track days as well. Fact is that many pony car owners snub the twins because they are perceived to be underpowered then find themselves humbled during track days by mildly modified 86's.
