Well the Oil Cooler Connector is back ordered to eternity.

I just talked to Shawn over at Subarupartswarehouse.com and ordered the STI bolt from a 2008 model. He said if it doesn't work I can send it back for a full refund which is badass. I'll update if it does in fact work, there were more in stock too.

If the 08 STi oil cooler connector works let me know and I will add it to the list on the first page as an alternate piece.

Will do. Also know that the new WRX has an oil cooler just like this. I would assume 2014 model, the one with the six speed.

Once a 2015 wrx makes it to our dealer, I am going to look it over and see if their water pipe will be a better fit than the FXT one.

It's top mount oil filter too so the oil cooler should work on our car as well.

the cooler is probably the same part number as the FXT since its basically the same engine. I just wanna see that water line since some people have expressed concerns about the current FXT solution

This is my oil temps with the first session of the day, I only logged 2 sessions, I can upload my afternoon session(slightly higher ambient) if anyone requests for it. My other sessions were running my lap timer.

Can do I my last track event was on October 26-27 at the same track but I peaked at around 294f in oil temps. The ambient temps were in the mid 80s those days though. Sadly I accidentally cleared all my logs before I was able to email them to my account.

The OEM oil cooler looks great for track use. A manual by-pass valve for closing off the oil cooler when driving on the street might be beneficial to prevent oil temperatures from being too cold.

no need for it, the cooler cooler acts as a oil warmer for faster warm ups, while cruising to the track, my oil temps tend to be 6-8 degrees above my water temp.

just to add as well, it was 40 degrees outside when i went to the track that morning.
