Which do you guys think you will get?

This gets asked a lot and IMO the answer is it depends!
Lots of crappy springs out there. Lots of crappy coilovers out there. One is not always better than the other and what works for one person may not be ideal for you. Can't write any more at the moment...back to the shop. - Andrew |

Love RCE's commitment to the FT community. Their commitment to the STI community is one of the big reasons why I chose them when I did the STI.
Back OT: I'm going springs. I'm not planning to compete for points with my BRZ, so the higher cost of coil-overs isn't fully justified, nor is the added adjustability needed. Especially as it looks like RCE will have a set of "Black" springs for us who DD our cars. I know I can probably find a set of coilovers for the price of springs+mounts, but I don't put junk on my cars; and to be honest, a set of $1K coilovers is only going to be junk. |

There's no need to be flippant. He's obviously implying "damper/spring solution in a box" versus "spring replacement for otherwise stock suspension".
It's also inappropriate to answer this question, as we have no suspension stroke measurements.

Springs from some good brand (Eibach, KW, Bilstein,...) if you just want to lower the car for good looks.
Full coilover kit of good brand and version (KW Clubsport, AST/Moton, Bilstein, Öhlins,...) if you know what you are doing and are tracking your car regularly. So to answer you question for a street car springs, for a trackcar coilovers, but can't tell yet as I have first to drive an test it and adapt to situation and needs. |

if you just want to pull 1G buy a set of RS3, RE11, StarSpecs or anything else in that regard. Won't need to ever touch the suspension.
anything stickier will only make you corner faster, again, no need for suspension upgrades.
