Front seat bolts look nasty

Anyone have a fix for the front bolts of the seat that look so nasty. Thinking about getting some stainless steel bolts. But it catches so much dirt and looks like crap. Need like a cover or something.

Anyone know the nut size?

I'd recommend sticking with the stock hardware and quick coat of matching spray paint or plastic/rubber bolt head covers. Reason why is that those are safety critical fasteners that will decide who pays the medical bills if you or a passenger are ever injured in a car crash.

Well now, Earnest72, I usually try to offer some constructive suggestions for most peoples concerns. I even went out and looked at my seat.

I'm just not seeing anything that looks "nasty" or needs "fixed" -

The 8mm torx head is small enough to allow the socket to fit on it and fit in the seat rail. A standard shape bolt's head is too large for the socket to fit in the groove of the seat rail. So finding a different bolt (that's also not nasty) is probably going to be very difficult.

The seat bolts use “E” type heads I believe. I wouldn’t use a Torx head in them.

"E" stands for external and is a type of Torx

Yeah I’ll paint them easier than figuring out what will work and whether it’s strong enough. Mine are corroded and look nasty.
