Raised the rear 1/4" and got an alignment today. Opted for 1/16" toe in both front and rear.

Why did you decide for some toe in the front? Having braking issues?

The car was a little bit too wiggly under hard braking. With a little bit of toe in, no problems last weekend at COTA. Will have a better comparison this weekend at MSR Houston.

How do you like the Ferrodo's? I see you use them quite often. I've got a set of ds2500's but I feel like they won't cut it for the upcoming track season.

The 2500's are street pads, the DS1-11 are race pads and I love them. You can see the differences between the different compounds here.

A fellow 86CUPer just switched from DS1.11 to DTC-60 last weekend. He much preferred the DTC-60s. I have not driven the DS1.11s. Have you driven both?

I think the 2500 is a good dual-purpose beginner pad, but that's about it. It is certainly a compromise, as it is a dual-purpose pad. But it is less compromise than others, IMO.

Do you think you can run ds1.11 on the front while having ds2500 on the rear?

I have used the DTC-60 but on a different and much heavier car. Glazed the pads in one weekend.

You could try it, may work just fine. I run the DS1-11 both front and rear, the fronts last me 4-5 weekends, I am on 4th set now. The rears I put in at 1,189 miles, I am at 16,xxx now, 19 hpde weekends and they are worn less than half way.

Clearly different compounds work with different cars. I wonder what you would think with them on an 86.

Would probably work better on the 86 platform. I also like Cobalt Friction but holy shit, are they dusty.

I noticed that on both the front and the rear you run slightly more camber on the left side than the right side, is there a reasoning behind not have a zeroed out cross-camber?

I am not a pro driver and doubt I will feel the difference if the camber is not perfectly even side to side. The toe I want to be dialed in exactly.

In the rear, I have UCAs and camber is adjustable in about half a degree increments so I am stuck at what it is.

In the front, with my weight in the car the front left is actually -3.7 so I can live with -3.7 and -3.6.

I hadn't thought about how weight might affect it. I guess that's true that even if you were to get them exactly even on a rack, if your weight isn't in the vehicle they'll be off again. That's good to think about. I'm headed to Austin all day tomorrow to finally get my car corner weighted and a track alignment, so I'll make sure to ask that they do the alignment adjustments with driver weight in the car.

Wait, isn't toe out the right solution?
