Also I am up by flint for the week and will be at the Indy race for sure Sunday and possibly Friday. If you guys are meeting up anywhere let me know it would be cool to see what types of mods you guys up here are doing.
I did the drilled slotted rotors, upgraded non semi metallic hawk pads, brake lines and fluid and after driving my cousins BRZ with the full brembo set up i really dont notice a difference..at all. We tracked our cars all day in Virginia and our brakes lasted almost the exact same amount of time. I think heat is the killer with this car not stopping the weight itself considering its not a fatty like a mustang or M3. The drilled rotors specifically and other brake upgrades seem to solve that issue completely...for me anyway

Well boys I am in talks about buying a Porsche Cayman, it is a 2008 with 22k miles. The only thing that keeps me questioning what to do, is the maintenance costs and if something goes terribly wrong with the engine or something I am stuck.... Someone talk some courage into me or talk me out of it!

Hey when that Tesla car comes in you better let us know. I have seen them being built on the line and I want to admire it once you get it. What color did you get?

Good luck @Mac1235. It sounds like this is something you really want. If I were in your shoes, if I can afford it, I would get it. I know, I am not really helping!

I am planning to be at the Grattan driving school/ track day on June 21 unless work disagrees.

Guys, let me know if anyone else is interested.

On a side note, we have a new addition to the garage. The girlfriend's M Sport 328. The Estoril Blue looks quite similar to WRB eh?

I absolutely will! I ended up with the 85kw pearl white (to match the brz) with the all glass roof. Got my tracking and VIN number a few days ago so I am pumped!

I'm interested, however all this injector seal leaking crap is probably will make my postpone any track until after my STI is delivered. There's a chance it will be here by 21st, but it's slim.

But seriously you should totally get it and find out if it has any problems for me. I'd really appreciate that.

There is one just like that that someone who works in our building drives. It catches my eye every time I drive by it. You will have quite a collection of pearl white cars with mouth guards at this rate.

I am for sure doing this, just waiting on a car to come around with the right mileage and pricepoint. Will keep you posted.
