The stock TorSen LSD is 4.1.
The clutch pack LSD is 4.3

They did explain why it was a coupe; it was lighter and cheaper. Personally, I would go as far as saying a coupe is the more structurally rigid.

I would have preferred a hatcback style trunk tough (on the coupe).
Over that I would take a more practical hatchback style GT86.

surprised the 'purists' that cry about the car being 'ruined' haven't shown up in the thread yet.

I say give the people more options.

Here I am! THEY'RE RUINING THIS CAR!!!

But seriously, zero f#%ks given about a convertible. Go ahead and build it; I don't have to buy it and I won't buy it!

I think the mx5 might be the better deal because a vert will add about 5k to msrp.

I would not buy the convertible version of the FR-S but they should build it and sell it. Scion needs a convertible, even if it's $2k to 5k more. I am thinking they can make it about $3k more and sell every one of them that they can build.

I'd be more thrilled if they were bringing back the classic hatchback body we all know and love on the 86.
