Called in for emissions testing!

Got a letter today requesting my car for emissions testing. Yikes. Will post as I find out more.

They do that every so often. I swear it is so they can force people to return their cars to stock because they are broke and want the cash.

It's $350 for little work. I'm not broke but I'd do it anyway lol

If you are modified they will decline you. They are looking for real world driving to check for programing improvements.

This has come up many times on here. It isn’t a trap, conspiracy, scam or any other weird and wonderful theory. It is a plain and simple study that each and every manufacturer does from time to time. You guys think they keep a stock of each model year car around for durability checks? This is just another for of quality control and product development. Some quick cash if you do it or just ignore the letter and carry on. No big deal either way.
