Hi Everyone,

We're now officially a vendor on FT86 Club. We've started up a thread in the classifieds where we'll continue to provide updates on our progress as we continue to push towards making Brainiac commercially available. Feel free to join in the conversation

Correct. For the FR-S we can only do a single zone climate control since it doesn't have the extra electronics of the BRZ.

But we do have our own temperature sensor so we can make the existing electronic climate control be "automatic" based on a temperature that you set.

Very interesting, too bad we will probably have to wait a long time for this to come out.

Good things almost always do. @Workshop12 seems to be moving along nicely though. Do not despair Bananapie, August 12th at ImportFest is where they'll be showing their progress. I'm sure the 86 won't be too many months behind. GET HYPED!

Everyone needs to go read the Brainiac: Connected Car Technology thread in the classifieds. It has answers to nearly everything.

So the 10.1 inch is $999? For a stock FRS will this be simple plug n play? (Trust me I tried reading all the articles but some were months back and may not be up to date)

No, price is $1,399 USD. And it's sorta plug and play for the base FRS. You'll need to order a few parts and install them to make the automatic climate controls function. Other than that, yes it's plug and play. They even provide the automatic climate control wiring.

Project has been cancelled. Due to lack of investors, Workshop 12 has stopped progressing on all Brainiac projects indefinitely. All pre-orders cancelled.

This thread is closed. Don't know what that means for Workshop12, but the owner also put his project Batmobile up for sale. Life changes. Very sad to see this project die as it had so much promise and so much work done. This leaves lots to think about. Best of luck @Workshop12 and Tim.
