Turbo or new engine? Help!

I think that we can all come to an agreement that the FR-S is a very beautiful looking car, but there is one MAJOR thing lacking.... the horsepower and torque. I have heard of many ways that people have gotten the power they want out of this car. What I am asking for is idea's of what other people have done. I thank you very much for taking the time and writing a response. Have a great day!!!

Ha Ha! Checked other posts and don't think is a troll just ummmm misguided maybe.
Although if asking about how good $500 coil overs are and the better ones are too much money then asking about turbos and engine swaps could be a tad trollish!

He was in a discussion of springs vs Raceland coilovers. I think it's fair to say he's not in the market to spend on a turbo or new engine...

And likely kill himself with it if he did have them!

D15. Single slam it!

I had a boosted D15 with a 4-speed. It was hilarious.

Ok, I'm looking at putting an Orenda Iroquois in mine. This should take care of any & all competition.

It took me 2 yrs to buy this car, every thing I read about it, ie:200hp was ok by me. This is what I wanted. It was like a Opel GT, MGB... fun, light, yadda yadda yadda... It's a tuner car, have fun, do what you want

So what's an Iroquois.... [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orenda_Iroquois"]Orenda Iroquois - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]

No war paint pls....

Now you're going to get a lot of troll responses or flat out jokes, I'll just believe you're serious and tell you what I've done. First off, I got rid of the FA20. It was a decent engine, but I had bigger things in mind. This car needed kick, so I swapped in/hired 3 dwarves to live in my engine bay. Between the three of them, the car puts around 180-290whp give or take depending on if its a Monday or Friday. This wasn't enough though, the dwarf bay was getting too hot for the temperature gauge to read, and so I had to think of cooling. I grabbed a water cooler off of my computer and filled the reservoir with tears of a unicorn I had lying around. This provided maximum cooling capabilities, as well as giving me a modest increase of 30whp. Next was the Turbo. I went to my local torrent site and downloaded Turbo (2013) and threw it on a CD. Took that CD and put it in my radio and now the cars got a bumpin turbo. Lastly I had to deal with all of the bitches that were suddenly attracted to my car. To resolve this I slammed the car and tweaked in some dope ass negative camber. This resolved the panty dropping and now I just attract the occasional highschooler and get greeted with mad street respect. Ah, just what I wanted.

The LSX and 2JZ swaps just don't have enough power for this car IMO.

Which is why I decided to forgo pushrod engines altogether and transplant a Pratt & Whitney J58 into my car.

I had to change the speedometer to knots because I was sick of counting revolutions of the dial to see what speed I was going.
