Tried CSG settings this afternoon and like them better. JRZ USA recommendation was supposed to be a starting point and it's very good but not as good as the recommendation I got from @CSG Mike. Handling is now perfect, tested by me and by the NASANE instructor (twin owner) driving my car with me in it. Amazing balance with just a touch of oversteer exactly where it's appropriate. On almost worn and fast Nitto NT01 and camber/toe specs from my build page. Tomorrow morning Toyo RR racer take offs with 8 heat cycles are replacing nittos...will be a fun day.

They're not in the same league; @dp1's 2 way dampers cost more than the 3 way KW.

Apples and oranges. One is a highly customized entry level race damper. The other is a very high end street damper. They both have their pros and cons, and it depends on your application.

The src are an entry level race damper? Is that why it's harsh for daily driving?

The damping profiles and nitrogen pressures are different, which is where the street ride quality differences primarily originate from.

Could someone help me understand the physics involved here that enable much quicker lap times by upgrading to a high end suspension setup. Is it as simple as keeping a consistent contact patch or is more involved.

I'm currently still running base level BC coils that I installed early on when the car was still an experiment that I wasn't sure would pan out. Now that I'm fully down the rabbit hole I'm reconsidering the suspension but I'd like to understand why the upgrade works so much better.

It will be able to control firmly body movements while keeping a very good contact patch for the tires.
So precise control of sprung and unsprung masses at the same time.

It will be able to suck big bumps while doing the 2 previous things.

It will be able to do all that with very high spring rates.

It will be able to do all that while being reliable.
