Perrin Engine Oil Cooler - oil changes
Hey guys,
QQ for anyone who has the Perrin engine oil cooler on their BRZ. When you do oil changes do you always flush the oil cooler lines or do you just do oil change as normal? Thanks! |

I just change oil as normal. Oil coolers usually only add a fraction of a quart to the volume (my Mishimoto unit adds 0.65qt). For me, that's not enough to warrant draining the lines.

Just change the oil early enough, before it degrades significantly. That way you won't have to worry if you have about a quart of old oil in the cooler and lines.
