Tire wear issue?

Got these Indy 500s and had an HPDE with a few hundred miles on them. Is this type of wear pattern on the shoulders normal or should I be concerned?

That's normal wear for an HPDE. They tires get hot and the edges only really get abused during cornering, so while the center ribs smooth out with miles, the edges will look like that.

Normal wear. Keep going and don't worry about it.
