Personalized plates?

Hey all:

I'm considering personalized plates. In the past, I had something which referred to my name, but this time I've thought something denoting the tS "registry" number would be kinda cool.

I'm in California, so I have 7 letters/numbers to work with, so here are my thoughts:

TS 393
TS 0393
TS NO393

Thoughts? Not that it makes a huge difference, but if any of the rest of you have already started this trend, I'd consider jumping on the wagon, too.

Dok

Oh, and white? or black?

Cool idea.

You could also wait for Veloist to release the build list eventually, which will tell you where your tS lies in the build order for tS's. the 0393 tells you have the 393rd BRZ, not the 393rd tS.

My own plates will read "86 TS", and I'm getting them in black. I think either black or white will look good on a CWP, however, the red "California" script on the white plates will really fit the color scheme of a white tS well.

Well I'm glad I asked! Makes much more sense, given the numbering in the registry already. Any idea when we'll have an idea of the build order? Are we talking on the order of a couple of weeks, or more like many months?

And therein lies the problem! Looks like I have a bit of time to decide, however...

Thanks Yuri!

Possibly next month since there are still about 15 cars that don't have VINs yet.

Sold the old and got mostly all new stuff... the only thing that I transferred over is the hood.

I hit 6k miles, so took my tS (#280) in for service.
Here it is parked next to #724, #710 (also Crystal White) is at the same dealership.

5) I first saw a FT86 back in 2013 in California. I had a 2008 Honda Civic Si with I/H/E at the time. The Toyobaru interested me but I needed a bigger car and traded in my Si for a CRV. Years passed with deployments and I came across lots of JDM cars during my stay in Japan. It rekindled my curiosity again. I saw online that Subaru was releasing a tS with lots of STI goodies and during that same day I came across a authentic JDM blue tS with all the STI goodies and felt that was a sign for me to get this car.

I put down a deposit down online on December 20, 2017. The car arrived to my dealership on February 16, 2018. I finally returned from overseas and met my car on April 21, 2018.

My plans are to stay N/A for now. This is my first RWD chassis and I will be upgrading my vehicle in increments. I am excited to have such a driver-centric vehicle and look forward to the miles to come.

It’s really cool that Kiske’s tS saw yours being built from start to finish directly in front of it.

Had my Ts on the rack today and noticed that the fill plug on the diff had a LSD sticker on it, do other FRS/BRZ/GT86 have this sticker?

Wow that was fast! Do you still get the clunking sound you mentioned when you first got the car?
