I'm not sure, my 1974 Lincoln is 45 years old and running for strong... then again it only has 100k miles on it. A diesel might be even better (not saying this car is going to be a mid engine turbo diesel or anything).

Dude. "This car" is not going to be anything at all. It is a fabrication by a one man clickbait site in Malaysia. It has about 5% of the credibility of motoring.au.
Your 45 year old car can get buy without the electronic controls of now precisely because it is 45 years old. It is unfortunately a fact that the modern controls are required to meet legislation by most governments around the world.

The speculation this guy cites is based upon some very twisted quotes from an actual interview and then this dude just added his own fictional twist.
If we take the comments at face value (which we shouldn't) then even the two ideals spoke about contradict each other. It will be a entry level limited electronics MR2?
