Is this mod worth $400 if I already have the OFT and drive only on the street with no track? I just don't want to go through with everything and if it just feels like all I did was put a drop in filter. I realize the power drop off at 6500 but I don't rev past that like ever.

From what I've seen it looks to be worth it if you don't wish to run e85 in your car and stay N/A

So for the vacuum line that is supposed to be zip tied, is it recommended to replace with longer line? I could've sworn I read about people having issues with this even after being ziptied..

I've been driving mine with BPB on just the reg stage 2 uel tune. it made a difference in midrange torque for sure, but compressed to top end down. I own a mac laptop and dont have the storage space I would like to run windows on it so no BPB tunes for me.

Well just the other day I got a hold of a friends windows laptop, downloaded all the open flash softwear and updated my tablet and I flashed the BPB tune to the car. It restored the top end (which feels great), and wow the midrange is nice. There's absolutely no evidence the car ever had a torque dip. It just pulls hard all the way to 7400. And, I'm not sure if this is the same for anyone else, but my MPG's have since improved after flashing the BPB tune.

Anyone else notice an MPG increase?

I had a local shop install the power blocks on my brz yesterday. They said it was a pain in the ass and charged 2.5 hours of labor for a total of $187. Drove around a bit today after flashing the car with the oft uel stage 2 tune and resetting the ecu. Too early to tell since the ecu is recalibrating. Haven't revved past 5k yet.

Went for another test run today. The power band feels smoother without a noticeable torque dip. Power has a bump around 6.5k.

Don't expect to buy this and make this car fast all of a sudden. This car is what it is. The spacer does help smooth out the available power while adding some in the process.

If you are already happy with the car and how it drives, this will only improve that.

How would one tune the ecu to benefit from these? Cam timing, duration... not sure what the correct terms are as im not a tuner but what needs tweaking, what exactly do these blocks change/do besides changing the "volumetric efficiency"

Considering people are going FI, E85 or are pulling them out, probably not so much.

This is a spot on review of this product in my opinion.
